Are you right for Sebastian?

Sebastian is a very cute, one-and-a-half-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is still finding his feet and discovering the world at his own pace. He is looking for a calm, understanding home that will enjoy building a close bond with him as his confidence grows. Sebastian would be happiest living with young, responsible children aged 10 and over who understand how to give him space and respect his boundaries. When visitors come over, Sebastian is fine as long as introductions are gentle, unhurried and without expectations of lots of hands-on attention straight away. Time alone will need to be introduced gradually, with leaving hours built up slowly to help Sebastian feel secure and settled. He has not had any previous training, so his new family should enjoy helping him learn the basics using positive, reward-based methods and plenty of encouragement. Sebastian can live with another confident, playful dog, who could help show him the ropes and add a bit of fun to his day.

Is Sebastian right for you?

If you are looking for a small dog with little bursts of energy and plenty of charm, meet Sebastian. He enjoys getting out and about, is relaxed when crossing the road and seeing traffic and is always happy to potter along on a sniff-filled walk. Sebastian loves sniffing, spending time with people and will never say no to yummy treats, which will be a great help as you start his training journey. While he is still learning, his eagerness to connect and his love of rewards make him a lovely dog to work with. This very cute lad is looking for someone who wants to build a strong, meaningful bond, taking the time to help him feel safe, understood, and confident. With patience, consistency, and kindness, Sebastian has all the makings of a wonderful companion.
