Are you right for Rex?

Meet Rex a big-hearted, frisbee-loving adventurer with a real zest for life! He’s looking for a home that can keep up with his energy, support his training, and give him all the love he so happily gives in return. If you’re searching for a dog who makes every day feel like an outdoor adventure, Rex might be your perfect match. He loves long walks, hikes, and a good game of fetch especially if you own a frisbee! He’s not fussy about food or treats and he absolutely lights up whenever he meets a new human friend. He’s fully crate trained, content to settle in his cosy den when you’re busy or away. Rex is currently on our Home Stay Scheme and is not in centre to view.

Is Rex right for you?

Rex is looking for a special home that understands his needs and is ready to help him become the best version of himself. He’s a very high-energy boy who will benefit from ongoing guidance to help him relax and settle in the home. He also needs patient, positive training around other dogs as he becomes overexcited and reactive, so calm, confident handling is essential. He’ll need a secure garden with no neighbouring dogs. He travels in the car but gets a little vocal and whiny, so a family happy to practise calm travel would be ideal. Rex can live with children aged 12+, he’s a big softie for human companionship. At his core, Rex is a loving, enthusiastic, sweetheart who wants a human of his own to adore. With the right home, one that sees his potential, embraces his quirks, and enjoys his playful spirit he’ll become a truly incredible companion. If you’re active, patient, and ready to help him grow, Rex can’t wait to meet you. Could you be his perfect match? Rex is currently on our Home Stay Scheme and is not in centre to view.

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
