Are you right for Suzie?

Suzie is a sensitive little lady looking for a quiet adult only home with not many visitors. little Suzie needs a forever family that understand she sometimes needs her own space and are happy to wait for her to approach them on her own terms for a fuss and cuddle. Visits to meet her here at the center multiple times will be needed to build a relationship, once she knows you and feels comfortable Suzie doesn't hold back and smothers you with her playful, fun and sassy personality. Suzie likes other small dogs so can have some walking buddies once settled but will need to be the only dog in the home, she can potentially live with a dog savvy cat. Her own secure garden to retreat to and spend time pottering around will be beneficial. Suzie is muzzled trained for visits to the vet, our training team are on hand to help with ongoing training and building her confidence in situations like going to the vets. As Suzie adjust to her new home and family she will need someone around most of the time, any leaving hours will need to be built up slowly. Any new adopters should live within an hour of the centre and be available for home visits with Suzie.

Is Suzie right for you?

Suzie is looking for a quiet life where she does not have to interact with lots of people, she likes her daily walks in quiet locations where she can explore and sniff around without interruptions from traffic and people. She travels well in a car and will happily jump in ready to go on a little adventure. As Suzie gains confidence and gets acquainted with you, you will see her playful cheeky personality shine. Given time and patience Suzie will be your best friend, rewarding you with lots of cuddles and will happily settle down on the sofa with you at the end of the day when its time to relax.
