Are you right for Charlie?

Charlie is a super 9 year old chap who is seeking an extra special, adult-only family. Having made great progress with his training so far, Charlie needs a space he can take himself off to when he wants to relax and snooze, as he is unhappy being startled when sleeping. His perfect home environment would be one that is quiet and peaceful and with adopters who are happy to work with our training team, while Charlie adjusts to his new home. Charlie’s adopters will need to make several visits to our rehoming centre to get to know him, as Charlie has shown aggression in his previous homes. Ideal new adopters for Charlie will be happy to continue his training once he is adopted, with Dogs Trust support. He will need to be the only dog at home and is unable to live with cats and small furries. If you could offer the right home for Charlie then he would love to hear from you!

Is Charlie right for you?

Nine-year-old Charlie may be a mature gentleman, but he plays as if he were still a puppy and certainly loves an adventure. He travels well in the car, which is a great benefit for adopters who will enjoy exploring with him on scenic walks. While Charlie does love to interact with his people pals when participating in fun training or when playing with his toys, he’s also happy to spend time alone and copes well with being left for a few hours. Charlie is housetrained. Please note: If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.
