Are you right for Rubble?

Rubble is a Jack Russell/Pug cross who is great with people but does have some worries around other dogs. He can live with children of around secondary school age and can have younger visitors too. Rubble will need to be the only pet in the home. He would also love to live in a low-dog-populated area as does find seeing dogs out and about worrying. Rubble wears a muzzle for his walks but happily jumps straight into it as he knows it means he’ll get to do something fun! A secure garden will also be essential so that he can have plenty of stress-free play away from other animals. He’s been a bit of an escape artist in the past, so even though he’s only small, tall fences are a must! He is currently residing in one of our lovely foster homes.

Is Rubble right for you?

Rubble is 6 years old and has come back into our care after being in a home for a number of years as they were no longer able to provide the care he needed, and recognised he would be happier in a different environment. He is such a friendly chap who loves nothing more than a fuss and a snooze on the sofa. Rubble travels quietly and happily jumps in of his own accord, but he does get travel sick so won’t want daily journeys to be a necessity. Rubble will need time left alone to be built up gradually to help him settle, but he spent some time in foster and managed to be left for a few hours when there. Once settled in a home he will make a fun, active and loving companion, he just needs that right set-up away from other dogs to help him thrive.
