Are you right for Billie T?

Meet Billie T, a 5-year-old Fox Wire Terrier looking for a loving and patient home. Billie came to us from a breeder who wanted to reduce their numbers. She thrives around other dogs, particularly those with calm temperaments, and must live with another calm and confident dog after successful meetings at the center. Although she’s shown no prey drive, Billie may live with cats following a careful introduction. Billie is best suited for homes with children aged 11 and older who can respect her need for space. She's a sweet but nervous girl, who will benefit from gentle, short interactions at her comfort level. Billie is not yet housetrained and will need support in this area, as well as a quiet environment where she can gradually build confidence.

Is Billie T right for you?

She requires a secure garden for her to feel safe and continue her toilet training. Billie is not comfortable over handling and will need ongoing patience and support in this so she can learn that touch is a positive thing. A quiet, understanding home with someone around initially would be ideal to help her adjust. Billie must be kept on a lead in public to prevent bolting if frightened. If you can provide a calm and supportive environment for Billie to flourish, she could be the perfect addition to your family.
