Are you right for Freddy?

Meet Freddy! This sweet scruffy boy is looking for his forever home, preferring a quiet pace of life and owners who can offer a calm and patient household. Freddy has limited vision so experience of caring for blind dogs would be beneficial as he appreciates consistency in his surroundings as well as owners who understand he may be easily startled. He is looking for a home in a low dog populated area as he is sometimes worried of other dogs, but he still loves to get out and about and is often in the bushes having a good sniff when walking on a long line. He’s a smart boy who puts that nose to good use when sniffing out treats too! Freddy likes a gentle fuss once he has settled in a new environment and he likes to lean in for ear scratches especially. He travels well in the car which would be great for getting him out for those quiet adventures and is used to being left at home on his own for a few hours, although this would need to be built up in a new environment. Freddy is a real little character who has won staff over here with his scruffy hair do and affectionate ways.

Is Freddy right for you?

Freddy will be a lovely addition to the family, and would really benefit from a quieter home where he can settle and take his time. Freddy would be looking or an adult only home where he would be the only dog. Freddy is a good boy and tries his hardest to keep his space clean, but may need some reminding in his new home! Any time left alone in the home will need to be built up slowly as we don't know how he is on his own. He settles nicely in his kennel when it's quiet in the block, but has been known to show some stressy behaviours when it is fairly noisy such as spinning. In a quiet environment though, he is happy to lay down and chill. We can't wait for this handsome boy to find his forever home!
