Are you right for Ellie?

Ellie has met other dogs but tends to keep herself to herself, so she’d be happiest as the only dog in the home. As a typical spaniel, she has a high prey drive, so she’s best in a home with no other pets. She doesn’t require her own garden as long as she has regular opportunities for nice, sniff‑filled walks but she is strong on the lead so adopters will need to be comfortable with this . Ellie can live with secondary‑school‑aged children. With patience, reassurance, and plenty of love, Ellie will blossom into a truly lovely companion. Ellie is in a foster home and therefore not at the centre.

Is Ellie right for you?

Ellie is a lively and loveable 10‑year‑old Springer Spaniel who’s still full of zest for life. She’s the kind of dog who bounces from one interesting smell to the next, always eager to explore and always delighted to greet anyone who crosses her path. Ellie is a whirlwind of enthusiasm when toys or treats are involved, and her expressive, happy nature means there’s never a dull moment with her around. Despite her excitable side, she’s been a star in her foster home — fully housetrained, sleeping happily downstairs, and always pleased to welcome visitors with a waggy tail. True to her spaniel roots, she adores walks packed with scents and adventures, and she brings a joyful charm to everything she does.
