Are you right for Luna?

Luna is a sweet and sensitive girl who would truly thrive in a calm adult household. She’s looking for a loving home with older children aged 16 and above, including visiting children, where she can feel safe and supported. A private, secure garden would be ideal for Luna to enjoy some quiet outdoor time, helping her relax and feel grounded. Her foster carers are actively working with her to help her grow in confidence and feel secure around resources and handling. Her future family will receive full support from the centre to continue this journey with her, and we’re looking for adopters who are committed to helping Luna flourish. Luna will need a few meets with her new adopters to ensure both Luna and her new family feel confident and connected before she moves into her forever home. Luna prefers her own space when it comes to other dogs, so she’ll need to be the only dog in the household. She does have some medical needs that may involve additional costs, and we’ll be happy to discuss these in detail if your application is shortlisted. If this is a concern, please don’t let it stop you from applying—we’d still love to hear from you. Luna has so much love to give and is ready to blossom with the right support. If you’re looking for a companion and are ready to help her shine, Luna could be the perfect match.

Is Luna right for you?

Luna is a beautiful five-year-old Springer Spaniel who has come into our care due to a change in her previous owners' circumstances. She’s a clever and affectionate dog with a gentle soul, and she’s ready to find a home where she can truly thrive. Luna knows several fun tricks and enjoys engaging with long-lasting chews and playing with her favourite balls. She’s affectionate with those she trusts and has a sweet, loving nature. As a sensitive girl, she can feel overwhelmed by too much handling or unfamiliar people, so she’ll flourish in a calm, structured environment with patient and understanding adopters. Currently in foster care, Luna has shown her ability to build strong bonds and settle beautifully. She’s housetrained, enjoys quiet time during the day while her carers work from home, and finds great comfort in her crate, which she uses as a cosy retreat for rest and relaxation. Luna can be left alone for short periods, provided this is introduced gradually once she’s settled. She’s not a fan of car travel, so a home where frequent journeys aren’t necessary would suit her best. Luna is a truly special dog who will blossom with the right care and environment.
