Are you right for Arlo?

Meet Arlo, he's a super smart 10 month old Spaniel cross! He's on the search for a forever home that can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated. Arlo has been in a home previously where he was housetrained and has been used to spending a few hours home alone, however this was in a crate which he has been comfortable with. His favourite things including sniffing out treats and getting his clever nose involved in some fun enrichment like scent or searchwork, snuffle mats and dig boxes. Arlo can feel conflicted around some things including intense handling such as veterinary visits or having equipment such as his harness put on. For this reason he'll need patient adopters who can take a hands off approach and help him feel more confident in these areas. He isn't a fan of sharing his favourite things and is learning "swaps" and "drops", for this reason Arlo would like an adult only home with adopters who can commit to visiting him here at the centre a few times to build a relationship and get involved with all his ongoing training. We're currently still assessing his interactions with other dogs so he'll need to be the only pet in his new home for now.

Is Arlo right for you?

Arlo is a real live wire and a resident clever clogs. He loves zooming around the runs following his nose and getting into lots of spaniel mischief! It's important that his new family are able to commit to both his mental and physical needs to keep him happy. Arlo must have his own safe and secure garden where he can explore and play.
