Are you right for Ruby?

Ruby is a fun-loving, affectionate 2-year-old Cockapoo with a huge personality and lots of energy to burn! She’s a bright, busy girl who loves being around people and getting involved in family life. Whether she’s out on adventures, playing with her toys, or curling up for cuddles afterwards, Ruby is happiest when she’s with her humans. She’s an incredibly friendly girl who enjoys meeting people and thrives on attention, although she can become overexcited at times and may jump up to say hello. Ruby will need owners who are happy to continue her training and help her learn calmer manners around visitors and exciting situations. Ruby is looking for an active home that can keep both her body and brain busy. She loves walks, running, exploring outdoors, and would really enjoy enrichment activities and training games to help channel her clever, energetic nature. Ruby would like to be the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all the attention to herself. While she is friendly with dogs out and about and enjoys socialising on walks, she can find sharing her home space with other animals overwhelming. She is also not suitable to live with cats. She could live with older, dog-savvy children and would benefit from owners who are around much of the day initially while she settles in and gradually builds confidence being left for short periods.

Is Ruby right for you?

Is Ruby right for you? Ruby is looking for adopters who are ready for an active, clever young dog that enjoys being busy and involved in everyday life. She would thrive with owners who can provide consistent routines, ongoing positive reinforcement training, and plenty of companionship. She will need patient adopters who understand that while Ruby is incredibly affectionate and friendly, she can become over-stimulated in exciting situations and will benefit from continued guidance and structure as she settles into her new home. Ruby would suit an active couple or family with older children who enjoy walks, playtime, and spending lots of time with their dog. A secure garden would be ideal for this energetic girl, along with plenty of opportunities for enrichment and mental stimulation. In return, Ruby promises to bring lots of fun, affection, and personality into her new home. With the right guidance and understanding, she has all the makings of a wonderfully loyal and loving companion.
