Are you right for Rumple?

Meet Rumple, a striking 1 year old Crossbreed who’s ready to find a patient and understanding forever home. Rumple arrived with us with very little known about his past, and it’s likely he’s had a bit of an unsettled start to life. Because of this, he can sometimes become overwhelmed, which may lead to excitable, mouthy behaviour when he doesn’t quite know how to handle his emotions. He’s looking for an experienced and committed family who can help him work through his big feelings with time, consistency, and positive training. Due to his bouncy and sometimes over-the-top nature, Rumple is best suited to a home with children aged 14+ who are confident around lively dogs. Rumple will need to be the only dog in the home and he is currently learning to wear a muzzle on his walks while he continues to learn how to navigate the world calmly and confidently. As we don’t have any background on his previous living situation, his new family should be prepared to support him with housetraining and gradually building up time spent alone. A secure garden with direct access from the house is essential, giving Rumple a safe space to play and explore. And play he certainly does! This whirlwind of fun absolutely loves toys, his favourite being the flirt pole, which he’ll chase with endless enthusiasm. Once he’s burned off some energy, he’s all about affection, often leaning into his carers for a good bum scratch and some one-on-one attention. With the right support and a home full of love and patience, Rumple has so much potential to thrive and become a loyal, loving companion.

Is Rumple right for you?

Rumple is a sweet boy who LOVES his food and has been enjoying getting his nose into lots of fun and tasty enrichment. His new family will need to be able to visit him a few times here at the centre and be able to get involved in all his ongoing training. He's still just a baby and we're sure with some patience and guidance he will become a wonderful member of the family.
