Are you right for Rumple?

Rumple is a beautiful 11 month old Shar Pei Cross who is on the search for a patient and understanding forever home. He's arrived with us with very little history and has likely has an unsettled start to life. Due to this he can get himself a little overwhelmed at times which can lead to him not making the best decisions and starting to show mouthing behaviours. For this reason he will need a home with children 14+ who are confident around over the top dogs and is hoping to find a family who are able to commit time and training to help Rumple overcome his big feelings. Rumple will need to be the only dog in the home & will need to be walked muzzled in his new home. As we have no previous history Rumple will need help with things such as housetraining and learning how to be left home alone. He must have his own secure garden with direct access from the house. Rumple is real whirlwind of fun who loves to play with toys in the runs here, his favourite is the flirt pole and he loves chasing it! After playtime is over he enjoys nothing more than fuss and attention from his carers, often leaning in his human friends for the best bum scratches.

Is Rumple right for you?

Rumple is a sweet boy who LOVES his food and has been enjoying getting his nose into lots of fun and tasty enrichment. He's learning to make better decisions and how to remain calm when he's getting a little overwhelmed. His new family will need to be able to visit him a few times here at the centre and be able to get involved in all his ongoing training. He's still just a baby and we're sure with some patience and guidance he will become a wonderful member of the family.
