Are you right for Zeus?

Zeus, or ‘Juice’ as he is affectionately known, is a goofy loveable boy who loves nothing more than spending time with his favourite carers, he will need multiple visits but once he has a relationship, he is very affectionate with people. Zeus’ best feature are his little expressive ears, which are always ready to ping up to say hello for a treat or his favourite stuffed unicorn. He enjoys going for walks exploring the great outdoors, followed by a nice long well-deserved rest, especially if the weather is nice enough to sunbathe! Zeus will need his own secure garden where he can explore at his own pace while he settles into his new home. Zeus’ other favourite thing is his food, he prefers to eat on his own so he will need a space to call his own to enjoy his dinner & long-lasting treats in peace. He is an incredibly smart boy who has lots of skills to offer already and he is looking forward to showing off his skills to his new adopters! He is looking for an adult only home as he can be sensitive with handling and will need to be muzzled for vet visits, new owners must be confident in handling a larger dog and continue the training that has been started here. At home Zeus will need to be the only dog as he prefers to take centre stage. Out and about he can have doggie pals and is quite adaptable when it comes to his doggie friends. He often matches their play style, but he does enjoy chase games where possible.

Is Zeus right for you?

Zeus has been having sleepovers with his carers where he's shown us he is housetrained and will stand by the door when he needs to go out. He's also been content spending a few hours home alone, which we think could be gradually built up as he settles into his forever home. Zeus has been enjoying the quieter home life and is happy to keep himself entertained with things such as snuffle matts and will take himself off for a snooze in his bed or on the sofa when he's ready. If you are looking for a canine companion who is a healthy balance of wanting to play tug and zoom around exploring vs enjoying bum scratches and sleeping away a Sunday on his bed, Zeus may just be the dog for you.
