Are you right for Kilo?

Kilo can be wary of new people so is looking for a family who are comfortable with keeping him on a lead in public places. He can live with upper secondary school children and above. He is best suited to being the only dog in the home and is looking for a family who will continue his dog socials in the home. Kilo can live with small furies if they are kept separately from him but no cats. He is looking for a family who can build up his leaving hours gradually at a pace he is comfortable with. Kilo would be most suited to a home with a private secure garden but homes with no garden or a communal garden will also be considered.

Is Kilo right for you?

Meet Kilo our striking 2 Year Old Rottweiler x Bullmastiff. Kilo is a big friendly giant who absolutely adores a cuddle with his known handlers. Kilo is wary of new people but with a calm, slow introduction at his pace he becomes trusting and affectionate quickly. This big goof ball absolutely loves toys and loves bounding round the compound with them. He is super foodie so enjoys his training. He is strong on the lead but is doing well with his loose lead walking. Kilo is under socialised around other dogs and can go to say hello very intensely which can upset the dog he is meeting. Due to this he will need ongoing dog socials in the home. Kilo is looking for a calm, patient home where he can relax his big paws in.

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
