Are you right for Sonny?

Meet Sonny, our gorgeous 9-year old Collie X Lab with the most beautiful face you've ever seen! He's the sweetest boy, but he can get a little bit worried in new situations so may need a bit of help building his confidence. Mostly Sonny struggles to relax and can be a little bit restless in the home. Unpredictable noises can scare him, so he will need a quiet home where people are around most of the time and he can get plenty of exercise in calmer outdoor environments. He could potentially live with another good-natured dog in the home, pending a successful meet here at our center and is looking for a home where all children are of older secondary school age, who know when to give him his space. The way to our Sonny's heart is by butt scratches, cuddles and a gentle touch. A home with a garden is a must-have for Sonny, as he can get overwhelmed when he's inside for too long and loves being able to freely come and go into the garden throughout the day!

Is Sonny right for you?

Sonny is a very sweet boy that loves nothing more than a good fuss from his favourite people. He can be a little wary of new people at first but as long as you let him come to you at his own pace (and maybe have a tasty snack to offer him), he'll come round in no time. Sonny also loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors and having a good chase with a tennis ball. He is slowly learning what toys are and how to play with them - although a squeaker is sometimes a little bit scary! Overall this gentle boy is an absolute delight and we can't wait for him to find his forever home.
