Are you right for Thor?

Meet Thor! This dashing boy is a Labrador/Boxer Crossbreed and only 1 year old. Thor is looking for an active home that will take him on long walks where he can do his favourite thing, sniff out new smells! It would be great to have these walking locations close by as he doesn't enjoy very long trips in the car. As he is an active young dog, Thor will need plenty of mental stimulation through enrichment games and activities. Working on his training will also keep him busy! He already knows 'sit', 'paw', 'up' and 'wait', what a clever boy! Thor has previously lived with children and so he could live with children aged 10 and up, as long as they are confident around big dogs. Thor has met a few dogs here at the Centre and has great manners! He could potentially live with another dog after successful meets at the Rehoming Centre. He does not have any history around cats. A secure outdoor garden would be amazing for Thor to play and stretch his legs during the day.

Is Thor right for you?

Thor is a very friendly boy with so much love to give the people he meets. He enjoys coming up for cuddles once he gets to know you too. Thor has so much fun playing with his toys, his favourites are definitely soft teddies! He is a very intelligent boy who will be eager to learn new things, especially if there's a treat involved. Thor is super curious and outgoing, he will make a great companion to someone who likes to get out and about! His adopters will need to be able to be at home with him during the day to begin with so that he can get settled into his new life. After that, leaving time should be able to be built up.
