Are you right for Ava?

Ava is on the search for her forever home with patient adopters! She would like her adopters to understand her worries and allow her to take things at her own pace. Ava has had an unsettled start to life and has been making great progress in our care. She will need extra patience, calm and gentle reassurance and confidence-building. It will take time for her to feel comfortable in her new environment and for her full personality to shine. Everything about the world is new to her, so she will need dedicated adopters to teach her everything from scratch and build on her confidence. Ava is looking for a quieter home life that is away from any main/busy roads with lots of noise. Ava's dream home would have another well-matched dog who can help her build her confidence and help her to settle into her new home. She would really benefit from having a private and secure garden with direct access from the house, as she is still being introduced to leads and harnesses. Due to her worries, she would like minimal visitors to begin with and could live with children 12+ who are dog-savvy, calm and can give her time to adjust to life in a home. Ava would like her adopters to be around for most of the time to begin with, to help her settle. She would love committed and patient owners who are happy to welcome a dog like Ava into their home!

Is Ava right for you?

Ava is truly loved at the centre, and our team has loved helping her build her confidence and has given her the space and time she needs to come out of her shell. She has shown great focus with her training, and she has a great, witty personality. At times, she can be seen interacting with her siblings in their kennel in a playful manner or found cuddled up next to them. She has been a brave girl and has been a role model for her siblings, taking the first steps forward in a new environment. If you can offer a loving and patient home, Ava is your pawfect match!
