Are you right for Phil?

Phil needs a home free of other pets and but he can live with teenagers. We have no history for him and cannot guarantee that he is house trained or used to spending time home alone by himself. Phil will need regular grooming, please consider the costs of this before applying to adopt.

Is Phil right for you?

Phil is a calm boy but he has a nervous side that can cause him to bark at people passing by. We have no history for him and don't know how he came to be in Dogs Trust's care, but he has found himself a little friend who has helped him settle. This has surprised us as Phil can be very reactive at other dogs and doesn't show much interest in getting to know anyone else. Maybe once he is settled into his new home he can begin to have some walking friends if his reactivity is less severe. Phil has bonded well with his carers and enjoys a fuss and cuddle but he is rather conflicted about other handling, such as having his harness fitted. His family will need to be willing to take things slowly with Phil and understand that he is struggling with his change in circumstance.
