Are you right for Baby?

Big, beautiful Baby is an 18 month old Mastiff cross who loves to zoom, snuggle, sniff and explore in equal measure. She is an absolute sucker for a tasty treat, she takes it gently and leaves behind some slobber on your hand to show her appreciation. She likes a gentle fuss, neck and back scratches are her favourite, and she will wander off when she is done. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys so far, she would much rather zoom and bound around with her favourite people. This big Baby is ready to find her new family, could it be you?

Is Baby right for you?

Baby is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean but is a big girl who doesn’t always realise her size, so could live with older secondary school children who are confident around large dogs, who will play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Baby would like all of the attention to herself so is looking to be the only pet in the home. She would benefit from having polite and friendly walking buddies to help build her confidence. She has a little training under her belt already, she does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, she is eager to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure. Baby can be worried being left, so would like someone around the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Baby will also need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
