Are you right for Max?

Max is looking for a home with a private, secure garden where he can enjoy his downtime. He would appreciate walks that aren't overly busy with lots of people or dogs, as he can find too much going on a bit overwhelming. Peaceful country walks or walks where he can keep some distance would be ideal. Max has come from a challenging environment, so his ideal family will be patient, understanding and willing to support him in any area where he may need more training. He should be the only pet in the home, but with the right introductions and management, he may enjoy calm, friendly doggie walking companions whilst out and about. If you can offer Max the safe, nurturing space he deserves, please apply online today!

Is Max right for you?

Meet Max, a lovable eight-year-old Mastiff Crossbreed ready for his forever home! He came to us from a complex situation involving multiple dogs, and our adoption team is happy to share his background with anyone interested. Considering Max's past, he is an incredibly well-rounded dog who takes things in his stride! Max may be shy at first, especially in new situations, but with patience and gentle encouragement, he quickly warms up. Once comfortable, he lights up—he loves people and thrives on attention! While he prefers not to be handled too closely right away, he blossoms beautifully with time. He’s discovered the joy of play, especially with his favourite squeaky broccoli toy, and enjoys balls and rope toys. He is also a big fan of tasty treats! Leaving hours will likely need to be built up gradually as he settles into his new home. Max isn't unfazed by traffic and will happily hop into the car, enjoying treats along the way, showing great potential as a travel buddy. With kindness and love, Max is sure to become your best friend and cherished companion.
