Are you right for Coco?

Meet Coco, a beautiful 1.5-year old Akita x Corso looking for her forever home! Coco is a one of a kind dog, with so much character and personality but needs to trust you before she shows it! She is worried by new people, and needs some time to build that trust. However, once you've made it into the best friend club, she is the sweetest and goofiest dog you will ever meet! Due to her worry around strangers, all children in the home should be 16yrs+. Coco would really benefit from living with another dog that is able to teach her that the world isn't so scary! She loves to have a play, but also spend time apart from her dog friends and builds a lot of confidence when spending time with them. Coco absolutely loves to play with her handlers here in the centre, enjoying a game of chase as she zooms around! Coco will lean into you to ask for cuddles and really dog have a heart of gold. Being a young, timid girl, she needs an understanding and patient family willing to offer her the stability and confidence she needs! We can't wait to see her thriving.

Is Coco right for you?

Coco is a beautiful girl, who is looking for her perfect home. Coco can be left for 1-4 hours but needs this time to be built up slowly. Coco would prefer a home where there aren't too many visitors initially as she does find this worrying, but once her confidence has been built, we believe she will be a brave girl. On lead, Coco can pull, but she does enjoy her treats so is receptive to positive reward based training. Coco will need to be muzzled - only as a precaution - for veterinary handling as this is rather spooky for her. She may need some reminding of her house-training in a new home, but with a set routine, she will be golden! We can't wait to see this gorgeous girl getting all the love she deserves.
