To apply to rehome Alfie, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found, at which point he will be removed from the website. Alfie is searching for his perfect forever home where his adopters can be understanding and patient with him as he settles in. Alfie does have his worries and needs his adopters to be willing to work on his training with him when he's home. As a result, his new abode must be no more than an hour away from us here at our Evesham centre so that he can meet his special humans a few times and have home visits before he moves in. Experience of resource guarding would be beneficial for his adopters as this is something that needs to be managed. In the right home, Alfie will flourish.
Type of home needed
Alfie is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with its own secure garden as he does still enjoy a little run around! Ideally, he would like to find a single person household but can live in a home with a maximum of two people. He's not a fan of lots of hustle and bustle so would appreciate a home with minimal visitors. If adult visitors did need to stop by, he would need a safe space that he's able to take himself off to. His time left alone will need to be built up in a gradual way by his adopters so that he's got a chance to familiarise himself with his new surroundings. He has been friendly with dogs here at the centre so has the potential to share his home with another canine companion.
More about me
A keen interest in training would be ideal as Alfie does need support when it comes to his resource guarding so that he's got the best chance to succeed in his new home.
