Angus is a two-year-old ex-racing Greyhound who is quite the stunner with his lovely brindle coat. He is a sweet natured boy who is looking for a forever home and a sofa to call his own. Angus is friendly with everyone he meets. He greets calmly and gently and loves to have a fuss. He loves treats which is ideal to teach him name response and some basic training. He enjoys going for walks and plods along nicely on his lead. He often walks well with other Greyhounds but he lacks some social skills with other dogs, and can get worried or OTT and therefore is best suited to quieter walks. He is happy and confident to enter a car, backseats or the boot and travels well with short journeys. Angus spent some quality time in a foster home on our Home from Home Scheme to get him used to home living. His foster carers described him as 'very sweet, inquisitive and a bit clumbsy.' Angus likes to roll around on the grass and do zoomies in the back garden. He also appreciates a light being left on for him at night.
Type of home needed
Angus is looking for a loving adult home. He is looking to be the only dog in the home. He would benefit from having suitable doggie pals to walk with wnen out and about and have acces to quieter walks. He has a high chase drive and is looking for a home without cats or small furries. Angus would best suit a quieter home environment.
