I'm looking for a new home...

About Henry

2 to 5 Years

Henry is a medium sized cross breed. He is a sweet, shy boy, who does form bonds with people when he is given the time. He loves toys and food equally, though he should be left alone to eat. He has come to us with very little history, though has enjoyed a sleepover with one of his carers.

Type of home needed

Henry gets worried by new faces, so he is looking for an adult only home with no other pets, minimal visitors, and no children visiting. We think he may be housetrained but should have a refresher when going in to a new home and will need the time he can be left for building up gradually, but as he is independant we don't think this will take long. He will need to be kept on lead and muzzled when on his walks; he does get worried when dogs or people rush over to him. We would like him to have his own secure garden with a fence at least 5 feet and above high so he can enjoy some off lead time. He will need new owners to walk him in quiet areas where he enjoy his walks and relax.

More about me

Henry is undergoing hydrotherapy and this will be ongoing so therefore new owners will need to live close to the centre in order for him to attend his sessions here and also meet him multiple times before going home.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
