Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

This handsome boy is Apache, he's a 6 year old Siberian Husky who is looking for a loving home to finally call his own! Muddy puddles and tennis balls bring out Apache's playful side and his cheeky character can't help but make his handlers smile. Like a typical husky, Apache loves being outdoors exploring and sniffing and he would love an equally active home that can take him on adventures of hiking in the hills! It can take time for Apache to build a bond with you but patience and tasty treats are definitely a winning combination to this brilliant boy's heart. Once he knows you Apache enjoys a good stroke and a gentle fuss...on his terms of course!

Type of home needed

Apache would like his own good sized private garden with 6ft solid fencing where he can relax and play to his heart's content! Breed experience is preferable for this characterful boy but if not then research on the breed must be done. He is looking to live with a maximum of 2 people in the home and both of these will need to be adults so he can really build a bond. He has had mixed reactions around dogs, he can lead walk with female dogs nicely but then has been uncomfortable with others - because of this he would like to be walked in quiet areas where dogs won't run up to him offlead and take him by suprise. Apache can be worried by people he has yet to get to know so would apreciate his adopters keeping visitors to a minimum and have a non open plan home where he can be seperated from the front door. Apache will need to be the only pet in the home to steal all your affection! He will be going home on a lead disclaimer which means he will need to be kept on lead out and about.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Manchester Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
