I'm looking for a new home...

About Todd

5 to 7 Years

Todd is a five-year-old Dutch Shepherd cross Staffy. He is intelligent and has lots of energy. He loves his toys and will carry one with him everywhere he goes. He is happy to jump in the car to go out on long walks and he does not mind other dogs walking alongside him. He enjoys a game of fetch and as he is such a bright boy, he needs to use his mind, he would love agility or trick training. Todd knows his basic training and has been doing well with his 'settle' training here at the centre. Todd loves his treats, and he likes a long-lasting chew to enjoy on a nice comfy bed. Todd enjoys a fuss and snuggles first thing in the mornings before he is busy playing ball. He is instantly friendly with new people and with those he knows he will go and meet and greet for a fuss.

Type of home needed

Todd is looking for a loving adult home where he will receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He is looking for adopters with experience and will need a quiet home where not too much is going on, ideally in a rural area. He will need to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from social doggy friends joining him on walks from time to time. He is looking for a home without small furries and cats, and care is needed around livestock. He will have to be on his lead around livestock. Potential adopters should be prepared to visit the rehoming centre a few times prior to adopting Todd.

More about me

Todd will be removed from the website when we have identified a potential match. If a suitable home isn't found, we will repost Todd's profile on the website.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre in Devon.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
