I'm looking for a new home...

About Bailey

5 to 7 Years

Bailey is a 5 year old Bichon Frise X who is looking for an experienced home. He is a sensitive chap who can take some time to build a bond and really show his true character. He really enjoys a good game of fetch and will need good supply of tennis balls and other toys to keep him occupied. Bailey will need an experienced home, a home with owners who have owned dogs that have shown resource guarding behaviours around food and toys. As part of the adoption process Bailey will need to visit your home several times, for this reason we are looking for a home within a 1hr 30minute drive of the rehoming centre.

Type of home needed

Bailey will require direct access to a garden in his new home, it must be fully secure. There must be adults only in the home with no visiting children. Bailey has several canine friends here at the centre, and he could potentially live with another dog in the home, who has a calm nature and doesn't mind sharing toys. Bailey's new family must be able to provide a home with a stable routine. Minimal visitors to the home are essential as new faces coming to meet him will be too much for Bailey, especially during the settling in period.

More about me

We know Bailey will likely get a lot of interest due to his breed but it is important for us to make sure we find the right match for him, so please make sure you are happy with what we have detailed in this write up before contacting the centre. Potential owners will have to live within an 1hr 30min of the centre.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
