Buddy is a handsome 6 year old Bulldog Cross. Buddy is looking for a breed experienced home with owners who can dedicate time and patience into his ongoing training. He does enjoy playing with soft toys and tennis ball. Buddy can be really affectionate and enjoy a cuddle once he knows you. He isn't a fan of over handling so will need owners who are willing to have a hands off approach.

Type of home needed

Buddy will need to be the only pet in an adult only home, with no visiting children. He will initially need a home where someone can be around during the day, and any time alone would need to be built up gradually. He'll need direct access to his own fully secure private garden where he can explore and play safely off-lead. Buddy would prefer to be walked in low dog populated areas, he'll need to stay on lead during his walks. His ideal home would be in a quite area.

More about me

He's an intelligent fella who enjoys learning new things and showing you how clever he is. Buddy loves his food, sometimes a little too much, and is definitely partial to the odd tasty treat. New adopters must be happy to consider taking on a dog who may require lifelong medication.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
