I'm looking for a new home...

About Toby

5 to 7 Years

I am looking for owners who live no more than one hour away from the centre, so that you can come and visit me several times. Toby is a handsome 6 year old Labrador cross who is looking for his special forever quiet adult only home.

Type of home needed

Toby loves to play with tennis balls and he will play on his own or with his owners. He loves going for long walks and splashing around in water and will then settle down with a treat. Toby loves human company and likes his cuddles on the sofa. He is looking for a quiet home with 1 or 2 adults only. He will be able to be left for short periods of time once he has settled in to his new home. His ideal home is a rural home with no dogs next to him. Toby needs a secure garden with a 6ft fence. with six foot fencing as a minimum requirement.

More about me

Toby is not comfortable around other dogs and must be walked in areas where seeing other dogs is kept to a minimum, local parks will not suit Toby. He will need to be on lead and muzzled when out and about. Owners will need to understand that he can not meet visitors in the house. Toby is a very loving boy once he has built a bond. Click the link below if you think you can offer Toby his forever home. on walks. Toby must also be shut away when visitors come to the house.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
