I'm looking for a new home...

About Toby

5 to 7 Years

Toby loves to play with his toys especially a game of fetch. Toby loves playing and splashing around in water. After a busy day of playing he likes to settle down with a chew on his bed. Toby now has lots of new doggy friends all different shapes and sizes that he enjoys going for nice long walks with. He can be worried by new people and new situations, so would need to be introduced slowly and in his own time to his new family.

Type of home needed

Toby is a 6 year old Lab cross. He is looking for a quiet home where he can build his confidence with his new family. He will need a adult only home with his own space to go when visitors come into the home until he has been introduced slowly to them. He will need to be the only dog in the home, but would like to have doggy friends out and about. Toby must be kept onlead and muzzled when out on walks, and would need his own secure garden to have his offlead and play time. Once Toby has settled he will be fine being left up to 4 hours. He has a high chase drive so cannot share his home with cats or small furries.

More about me

owners will need to be willing to continue his training once adopted. Although he does have doggy friends out and about he can still be reactive to some dogs so owners will need to continue his dog to dog. During the reserve toby will benefit from owners that are able to visit our centre multiple times to get to know Toby and work with Toby's main handlers. He is a very loving boy once he knows and trust you. If you feel you could offer Toby his forever home please apply today

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Salisbury Rehoming Centre in Wiltshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
