Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

I'm looking for a new home...

About Ace

2 to 5 Years

Ace is a very handsome 3 year old Lurcher who has come a long way since coming into our care. This active boy will thrive in a home that can offer plenty of walks in quiet areas, as well as mind and puzzle games to keep his busy brain occupied, he's super clever and loves to learn new tricks. He would love someone who can be home for the majority of the day as he loves being with people and gets very worried when he is left.

Type of home needed

Ace is looking for a home with any children aged 16 and over, it is important to note that Ace must be walked by adult at all times. His ideal walking areas should be located in quiet areas away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Ace has come on leaps and bounds on his dog to dog interactions but can still be reactive when he spots another dog out on walks, this will need to be carefully continued in the home to help him become less stressed when meeting other dogs, Ace comfortably wears a muzzle during his walks and will also need to be kept on a lead, his new family must understand that Ace may never be fully comfortable meeting other dogs, instead his ideal walking locations should be rural and very low dog populated. As Ace must be kept on lead during his walks he would love a good sized secure garden, ideally with no neighbouring dogs that he can call his own.

More about me

Due to Ace having a high chase drive he must be the only pet in the home. Ace travels well in a vehicle and would love to be taken to quiet walking areas or somewhere new from time to time to have a good explore.
