Tigger is a lively boy who hasn't had the best start in life but has come on in leaps and bounds since coming to us. He needs a committed owner to continue his training and it is something that he enjoys as he loves the rewards involved. An active owner would be great for him as he is young and has plenty of energy and is well suited to the outdoor lifestyle.

Type of home needed

Tigger is looking for a home with someone around for most of the day as he doesn't like being left on his own. This is something that should be built up over time once he is settled. He is looking to be the only pet in the home while he works on his social skills. It would be best for him to live with a family that have owned dogs before and can help him settle into home life after a while in kennels. He will need to be kept on lead when in public places so having direct access to his own garden to enjoy some freedom to run around and play. His garden should have a 6ft fence.

More about me

This enthusiastic guy can be over the top and mouthy at times, but again he has been progressing well and we will need his new owners to continue to encourage calm behaviours. For this reason he would be best with children over the age of 16 years old. Tigger is a favourite with staff and we can't wait to see him land on his paws in a forever home. If you match the criteria above and would consider fostering Tigger on a temporary basis please email us at [email protected] To apply to adopt Tigger please click on the 'rehoming me starts here' button below.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Glasgow Rehoming Centre.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
