Affectionate and cheeky, Aussie is a simply irresistible bull in a China shop who is bursting with potential. This handsome boy has the best, big staffy smile and boasts beautiful markings which really make him stand-out from the crowd. Aussie is extremely intelligent and is keen to show-off his very best 'sit', 'paw' and 'down' for a delicious reward ('wait' is a work in progress but Aussie is trying his very best to master this!). Playing and learning are two of Aussie's favourite things, especially when promised a plentiful supply of rope toys and brain games.

Type of home needed

Aussie's perfect day would begin with his all-important breakfast served in some form of puzzle feeder to get his bright mind working. A stress-free walk out in the countryside with minimal distractions around and plenty of exciting things to investigate along the way is a sure-fire way to provide this cracking lad with a first class morning. Some controlled play time, settle work and frequent opportunities to figure out food puzzles throughout the day will help ensure Aussie's success in his home, as well as maintaining a routine that he can get used to. Aussie would like a rural retreat to call his own away from the hustle and bustle of town and city living. He has spent a few months in a home previously and was housetrained during this time. Some amount of staffy breed experience will be beneficial to Aussie's family, as well as plenty of time and patience to dedicate towards his ongoing training.

More about me

Aussie is seeking an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He would like there to be minimal visitors to his home, and will require several meets with his family on site before he is comfortable enough to begin his new life. Our experts at the Centre will be on hand to provide the ongoing support that Aussie's family may need throughout his adoption and beyond, and are eagerly awaiting the future updates seeing him settled in his forever home.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
