Albie is a lovely, affectionate and people orientated boy who loves a cuddle and a fuss, he will even climb onto your lap for extra close snuggles. He absolutely loves meeting new people and enjoys greeting them with a toy. Albie is very bright; he is engaged with his training and enjoys learning new tricks. Training, specifically when treats are involved, is a great way to get to know Albie, and will build a bond that will last a lifetime. Albie loves to explore his surroundings but can be worried by unfamiliar situations, by engaging him in a game or some training he quickly becomes comfortable.

Type of home needed

Albie is looking for an active home that can give him all the love, fuss and attention he deserves. Not only that, but he would also like owners that want to continue his training as this is something he absolutely loves to do! Albie can be worried by other dogs, so living in a low dog populated area is a must. Continuing his focus work when seeing other dogs at a distance would be great to build Albie's trust and confidence. Albie would like to be the only pet in the home, initially he needs no leaving hours, but this can be built up over time. Albie loves his off-lead time, for this reason a private and secure garden is a must so he can explore and enjoy his surroundings. He can live with children aged 13 and over and would enjoy having visitors once he is settled into his new home.

More about me

Albie will need to wear a muzzle and be on lead in public, he has been positively trained with this and is happy to do so! Potential owners will need a call with our vet to discuss Albie's medical needs.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Harefield Rehoming Centre in London.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
