Handsome Harry is a medium size, 9-year-old Crossbreed who is looking for a calm home to relax in. He's a sensitive boy who can take a little while to warm up to people, but once settled he can be a bouncy and super fun lad who loves to cuddle up close to his humans and have a good fuss. Harry will require multiple visits from his new family to start building up that bond.

Type of home needed

Due to Harry's sensitive nature, he can live with children aged 16 and over. He prefers to keep his distance from other dogs, especially when on lead, so his new family must be able to continue his dog socialisation skills and build up his friendship circle slowly. Due to his high chase drive he is unable to live with cats or small furries and will need to be kept on lead during his walks in unsecure areas. Harry will need his own secure, private garden to enjoy and relax in.

More about me

Harry wants a quiet life where he can have nice walks and play ball in his free time. In his previous home Harry was unhappy to be disturbed when he was sleeping and will need to live with experienced owners who can learn to understand him and can avoid these situations in the home. Harry is house trained and he loves travelling in the car to quiet locations where he can enjoy a lovely relaxing walk. Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
