Zacky is a loveable chap, he'll need time to settle and to get to know his new owners who will need to make multiple visits to the centre, once he knows you he is very loving! He can be a worried boy around loud noises and fast movements and strangers coming to the home. Our behaviourist will give you advice about how to help Zacky with this. Zacky is OK around other dogs but prefers to keep himself to himself and would need to be the only dog in the home. He knows several commands but will need to build a bond before starting training.
Type of home needed
Zacky needs a home with understanding, experienceds owners who will read his body language and know when he needs time to himself. His home needs few visitors with no other dogs as that can be worrying for him too. He will need his own garden and leaving hours will need to be built up gradually. Because Zacky is a sensitive man he is looking for an adult only home.
More about me
New owners should be aware that Zacky has limited eyesight which means he is looking for a consistent lifestyle where he can easily navigate his surroundings and avoid changes such as moving to a new environment or altering furniture layout.
