Charlie has lived in a home before and was housetrained and ok to be left alone for a few hours as long as he has things to keep him occupied. He loves his toys especially raggy ones and tennis balls. He would play fetch all day if you let him. He is very much a typical Collie with lots of energy and enthusiasm!
Type of home needed
Charlie is a very lively boy who is looking for a quiet but active adult only home with new owners that will have lots of time to exercise him as he likes to be kept on the go. He has got some insecurities that will need to be worked on once he goes into his new home under the guidance of the behaviourists here at the centre. He can be wary of new people so a home with minimal visitors would be preferred and he will need to be walked muzzled when out and about. He will need to be the only pet as he prefers his own space. New owners would need to be prepared to make a few visits to the centre before taking Charlie home so that they can get to know him. He is a very intelligent boy who would enjoy being taught new tricks!
