Bailey is a 10 year old Border Collie. Bailey is a beautiful boy who enjoys going out for his walks and playing with his favourite ball. Bailey loves to be around the people he knows and loves going out in the car and investigating new places where he can spend time rolling in the grass or routing around in the undergrowth.
Type of home needed
Bailey can be mistrustful and worried by people, he needs a quiet home with people who know and love the Border Collie breed. He will need owners who are able to provide him with a seperate area away from the main house and can give him his own space as he does become defenisve of himself when feeling insecure. He would like a calm and quiet adult only home where there will be no children and very few visitors.
More about me
Bailey travels well in the car, he is house-trained and is able to be left alone. Bailey enjoys the company of quiet dogs but would prefer to be the only pet. Bailey will require several meetings to build up his trust before going to his new home. I am not currently available for rehoming as I would like to meet my new family a few times before I go home, which is not possible at the moment due to current restrictions. My Canine Carers will let you know as soon as this changes, so keep and eye on my profile.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
