Cassius is a magnificent 1-year-old American Bulldog, who was handed over to us. There is nothing small about Cassius from his personality to his size! He is a big loveable boy who enjoys the fuss and company from known people, as well as playing with his toys and running around our compounds. Cassius alos enjoys walking with his doggy friends, but can be a little boisterous off lead.

Type of home needed

We are looking for a home for Cassius that has limited visitors and that can provide him with company majority of the time or at least to begin with. He will also need to have access to a private garden, so he has somewhere off lead where he can play and chill out. Cassius can be worried by new people approaching him or entering his space, so his adopters should be prepared to put a visitor programme in place, so he can feel safe when new people do come over. Whilst out on walks he is happy to greet people who respect his space. Cassius is friendly with other dogs, but can be very boisterous. He would benefit from learning some calmer and more appropriate social behaviours and because of this we would like to rehome him as an only dog. He would enjoy continuing to social with other dogs on lead whilst out on walks. He cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

Cassius could live with older children aged 16 or over, who know how to behave around him and who can respect his space. He has the potential to be left for a couple of hours, once he has settled in and providing this time was built up very carefully and slowly. He has history of being housetrained but may have a few accidently initially. To apply for Cassius please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below.
