Maisie is a 6-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier X, who was handed over to us. An affectionate, live wire, Maisie loves to be on the go and is always excited to see people.

Type of home needed

We are looking for an active home for Maisie, that has a private garden and who can provide her with both the physical exercise and mental situations she needs. Maisie would benefit from having no neighbouring dogs either side of her, however we appreciate that this is something that might not be feasible and cannot be controlled, so her adopters should also be willing and prepared to manage Maisie's access to the garden. Maisie will need to be the only dog in the home, but would like to have doggy friends on walks. She cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

Maisie can live with children aged 10 or over, who can tolerate a bouncy dog. She would benefit from having company majority of the time whilst she settles in, but has the potential to be left for a couple of hours if this time was built up slowly. She is housetrained. To apply for Maisie please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Newbury Rehoming Centre in Berkshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
