I'm looking for a new home...

About Sasha

8 and over

Sasha is an incredibly sweet 9-year-old Weimaraner, who was handed over to us. Although her age is considered "mature", Sasha is still young at heart loves playing with her toys and adventuring whilst out on walks. She can also be a very affectionate girl, but does need to build a bond with you first.

Type of home needed

We are looking for a home for Sasha that has a private garden and lots of love to give! Unfortunately, Sasha is not a fan of other dogs and would rather avoid them completely if she can. She would benefit from being walked in quieter, low dog populated areas/times and will need to wear her muzzle whilst out in public. Sasha must be the only dog in the home and cannot live with cats or small furries.

More about me

Sasha can live with children aged 11 or over. She has the potential to be left for up to 4 hours, providing this time was built up slowly and once she has had time to settle in. She is housetrained. Sasha does have a potential on-going medical issue. It has been suspected that she maybe have pancreatitis, however this has not been diagnosis and is currently still be investigated by our veterinary team.To apply for Sasha please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Newbury Rehoming Centre in Berkshire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.
