Likes

Bentley is a super American Bulldog cross but sadly we know nothing about his life before Dogs Trust. He is very friendly and full of youthful enthusiasm, especially when it comes to meeting people for the first time! Bentley likes to explore but he can be a little wary of new environments until they've had a thorough sniffing, and then he relaxes nicely. He loves to play with toys and the ball on a string and tug games are his favourites.

Type of home needed

Bentley likes the company of other dogs but unfortunately he lacks social skills and goes in a little heavy handed when saying hello! He would be better as the only dog at home whilst his owners put some work into calm introductions to potential friends. As we know nothing about Bentley's history, we will only place him in a home where any children are of high school age. We cannot guarantee that he is house trained.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Merseyside Rehoming Centre in Liverpool.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

Start your online application now.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
