To apply to rehome Riley, please click on the 'Rehoming me starts here' button below to start your online application. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found, at which point Riley will be removed from the website. Riley is a bouncy bundle of joy who loves to play and make new human friends. Learning new tricks is something that Riley really throws himself into and will likely be a fantastic way to build a bond with a new family. Riley has lived in a home previously and will most likely be keen to be back in the environment that he knows and loves best. Going for walks in new places and having sessions of play with toys are always met with enthusiasm by Riley; He does have some minor behavioural complexities beneath his stunning outer shell, but is hopeful that a family is out there who are able to commit to all of his needs.

Type of home needed

Riley is seeking a moderately quiet home environment and would appreciate having his own secure garden to roam and explore. He should be comfortable welcoming visitors to his home, although consideration will need to be given towards his resource guarding and how best to manage this in all situations. Riley has previously been left for several hours at a time and should be happy being left to his own devices once settled in his home. He is very much a fan of being the center of attention, and is seeking an adult-oly and pet-free house to call his very own.

More about me

Riley may be able to share his family's attention with small furry pets who are housed securely in their own room, although Riley would ultimately prefer to be the only one receiving his humans' affection. According to his history, Riley is happy to travel in the car, although he has struggled when walking alongside roads at busier times. Having a dog sitter or walker ought to be no challenge for Riley as long as his behavioural quirks can be fully appreciated. Going to the groomers will be a frequent part of Riley's life, however he is not currently very comfortable when it comes to formal handling; It will be beneficial for Riley to have positive experiences in this area as well as some further consent training work.
