Rehoming by appointment

Our rehoming centres are open by appointment only. We're still rehoming, but we're doing things a little differently.

To apply to rehome Coco please click on the ' Rehoming me starts here' button below to begin your online application. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found and Coco will be removed from the website. Coco has so much love to offer a new family; She just needs her humans to be alittle bit patient whilst she gets used to her new fantastic life! This sweet natured girl came into our care through no fault of her own and has made some super strong friendships with members of our team during her stay. Coco is always longing to be out and about, and is especially keen to explore the countryside and the exciting smells it has to offer. Coco is a smart cookie who has mastered 'sit' and 'speak' (although sitting still is not her best skill!).

Type of home needed

Coco has lived in a home before and should appreciate being back in the environment that she knows and loves best. She should be happy to welcome visitors into her home although males may require a slightly longer introduction than females. Coco's time left alone will need to begin at around 1-2 hours in the early days, and she is looking to be the only pet in her home. Children in the home will need to be of older secondary school age, and visitors could be younger once Coco is settled properly.

More about me

Coco's home will need to be free of cats and other small furry pets who she may be tempted to chase. She has a good history of travelling in the car and has been happy to hop into parked vehicles on site without any hesitation. Coco should be happy having a dog sitter or walker and has not been too phased by traffic (although she will not be suitable to live along main busy roads). Her family will benefit from some amount of breed knowledge or experience, and shouldn't have any problems when it comes to housetraining as Coco is very clean and tidy.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from Dogs Trust Evesham in Worcestershire.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
