Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

We’re experiencing unprecedented interest in adoption, so please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

Handsome Harley is a friendly chap who can be a little shy. He is instantly friendly with everyone he meets but can be a little unsure to approach and say hello intially but with patient adopters who allow him to take things at his own pace, he will come out of his shell. He enjoys a gentle fuss and a cuddle on a comfy lap but is not a fan of being picked up. He really enjoys being in the garden, especially in the sunshine and would like his new home to have a secure garden for him to play in.

Type of home needed

Harley would like to be the only pet in the home. He could live with children aged 12 and older, providing they are sensible and understand he may need hands off time. He is not used to being left so would like his new family to be home most of the time initially to help him find his paws, once settled he could be slowly built up to being left for short periods of time. Harley has struggled in the past with house training so will need adopters interested in positive reward based training who can help him with his and teach him some of the basics.
