Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing.

We kindly ask that you don’t visit, or travel to, our centres. We’re still rehoming, with a virtual matching system and safety measures in place. If you’re matched with a dog, you’ll be invited an appointment at the centre to meet them, and if all goes well, make plans to take them home.

I'm looking for a new home...

Likes

Harry is a sweet sensitive 6 year old Hound x searching for a patient family to help him settle his paws into his forever home. Harrys favourite thing to do is go exploring, due to his breed he loves using his nose to sniff out lots of exciting smells, you will often find his nose to the floor for a lot of his walks! Harry can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you hes like your best friend and will expect some fuss and attention.

Type of home needed

His new home will need to have his own medium-large private secure garden where he can relax and work on his housetraining. Ideally this will also have patio doors leading out to the garden area as Harry can be worried by doorways, the garden will need to be easily accessible so not via the house or tight passageways. Because of this issue, Harry will also need a spacious home. Any children in the home need to be aged 14 years and over and be able to give him some space when he wants to relax. Harry has been really dog friendly here at the centre and loves meeting up with other canine pals so to help with his confidence he must live with another dog. His new family will need to be able to get some time off work to help settle him in as he isn't used to a home environment.
