Covid-19 update: our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing, but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with measures in place to keep staff and adopters safe. Find out more about how national Covid-19 restrictions are affecting our rehoming procedures and other activity.

Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with new processes in place to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

For dogs we know will thrive straight away in their new home, we’re matching them with their new homes virtually and delivering them contact-free. Current restrictions mean we can only facilitate adoptions local to our centres and not across Countries or anywhere there are travel restrictions. We’re not able to make appointments for dogs to meet their family before going home, but we can register interest to arrange appointments when restrictions ease.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

I am currently looking for my new family. To apply to rehome me please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close on Thursday 25th February at 4pm. Please be aware that applications may close early if we receive a high level of applications. Due to the current lockdown restrictions, we can only accept applications within an hour and a half hour drive of the centre.

Type of home needed

Mo is an 18 month old French Bulldog. He can be a timid lad with both people (especially men) and with dogs. So he is looking for understanding owners with dog experience of owning dogs as adults, so that they can be there for him for reassurance and to continue with his training needs. Mo will need to be the only dog in the home; however, he can walk alongside calm dogs and gradually build this up. Mo's home will need to be quiet and with limited visitors. Introductions to new people will need to be slow.

More about me

Due to Mo's nervous nature, children in the home will need to be 14 years and over and used to dogs. Unfortunately, he is unable to live with cats/small furries. Mo is a clever chap and has a cheeky personality.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Mo, who is based at Bridgend (Wales). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
