Covid-19 update: Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with social distancing measures in place to keep our staff and adopters safe.

Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us. We’ve set up new processes to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe, including matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free.

Local restrictions may affect our rehoming procedures, so please check the rules for your area: we’re not able to facilitate appointments or adoptions across different tiers, or anywhere there are travel restrictions.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

About Angie

Centre:
Breed:
Age:
2 to 5 Years
Sex:
Female

Likes

Even though Angie is a little worried, she soon comes around and greets people with a wagging tail. She does enjoy walking with canine companions, but can get a little too pushy with smaller dogs and is best kept on the lead. She loves playing with toys, the squeakier the better!

Type of home needed

Angie would love a secure garden so she can safely do her zoomies and continue her house training. In time she could be left 3-4 hours. Angie can live with young adults aged 15 and over, she could live with a well matched dog of a similar size. Due to her chase drive she won't be suitable to live with small dogs or cats.

More about me

We're confident that Angie will thrive straight away in a new home. So once she's been matched with her perfect family, we'll be able to deliver her to her new home contact-free. We've got social distancing measuring in place to ensure we keep our staff and adopters safe - we'll discuss all the details with you if your application is successful. If you're interested in applying to adopt Angie, click on the 'come and meet me button'. Please note you must live within an hour of the centre. Applications will close when I have found a suitable match.

In these unprecedented circumstances, we're doing everything we can to continue our vital work caring for thousands of stray and abandoned dogs. If you'd like to help, please make a donation. Your support means so much, now more than ever.

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Angie, who is based at Loughborough. Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
