Mac is quite a sensitive boy but he loves to be with people (especially those with treats!) and is happier when he's in quiet surroundings. He is 3 years old and thankfully his racing days are gone, so now he's looking for a warm home and all it's comforts, so he can enjoy being a dog. He has it in him to be a toy fan, but he does let his anxious side take over and can't seem to fully relax when he's playing.
Type of home needed
Mac gets along well with other dogs, and does seem happier in their company and they give him a little more confidence. He has never been in a home before so may need a little help with his house training. He can live with teenagers and would like a family where there is someone there most of the time whilst he gets used to his new life.
More about me
If you would like to adopt Mac, please click on "Come And Meet Me". Applications for this lovely lad will close when we have found him the right home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
