Susie is a beautiful, timid girl who has bundles of energy. She loves play dates with her doggie friends, running around an enclosed area. She can be a little vocal when she first meets them, often barking but soon calms down. Susie is shy when first meeting new people but the more time she spends with you, the more confident she becomes. Susie seems to be more comfortable with people away from a kennel environment so may improve massively once she is in a home. She can be playful with toys with some encouragment and loves her food. Susie enjoys a gentle groom from people she is familiar with and will happily have a cuddle. However Susie is very uncomfortable with being picked up.
Type of home needed
Susie is looking for a loving home with owners who are able to continue her basic training. She would be fine to live with children over the age of 8, as long as they understand to give her space when she needs it. Susie would suit a moderate to active lifestyle so she can burn some energy. After her daily walks, Susie will happily snooze and potter around. Susie would be great in a home with out without a canine companion and would make a great addition to a family home.
More about me
To apply to rehome me please click on the 'come and meet me' button below. Applications will close Tuesday 22nd September or when we have found a suitable home.
During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our
rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful
staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now
able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs.
This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of
being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by
your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without
your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to
those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs
get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them
their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult
time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue
looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...
