We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment and this now applies to all of our rehoming centres in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

To apply to rehome Bowie please click on the 'Come and Meet Me' button below. Applications will close when a suitable match has been found. Bowie is a wonderfully handsome young boy who is seeking an understanding family. He is sure to be popular, but does lack some confidence and will therefore need a slow and steady introduction to his new humans and home. He loves his toys and food which will both be a brilliant way to make friends.

Type of home needed

Bowie is a super sweet boy but he does have some underlying worries in new places and with new people, especially when out and about on walks. For this reason he is seeking a more rural home environment. He will require high levels of physical exercise and his new family should have a keen interest in training as Bowie is VERY bright and eager to please. It might take Bowie a few meets to be completely comfortable with his new family, so multiple meets at the Centre will be required. For this reason, Bowie's family will need to live no further away than 1 hour from Evesham.

More about me

Bowie could live with another dog, and may infact benefit from sharing his home with one. He will not be able to live with cats or other small furry pets, and Bowie is seeking an adult-only home due to his worries. Bowie has lived in a home environment before and was previously housetrained. He can be left for 3 hours at a time, but this should be built-up gradually in his new home.

During these uncertain times, whilst we have had to unfortunately close our rehoming centres to the public, we’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs. We are now able to start the search for new homes for a small number of our awesome dogs. This will really help us to support even more dogs who are most at risk of being put to sleep as a result of this crisis. We have been overwhelmed by your offers of support, and we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without your help. We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked, looked after and, as soon as we are able, finding them their forever home. We appreciate you thinking of us at what is a difficult time for all. If you would like to make a donation to support whilst we continue looking after the dogs in our care you can do so here...

How rehoming works

Thank you for your interest in Bowie, who is based at Evesham (Worcestershire). Please note this is not a reservation on this dog. If you think you could be a good match give us a call on the number below

Our rehoming process is a bit different at the moment! We’re now matching dogs with their new families virtually and delivering dogs to their new homes, with social distancing measures in place to help keep staff and adopters safe. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can come and meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment. We can’t register interest for dogs who aren’t available for rehoming. More info about how our new rehoming process works below.

When you rehome a dog, we’ll give you your welcome bag, which includes a new collar and lead, and our dog care handbook with microchip and insurance details. Plus, to help your new addition settle in we’ll give you a 2kg bag of Wainwright’s dry dog food, courtesy of the Pets at Home VIP Club, unless they have been fed on a different food for dietary or veterinary reasons.
